What time does Toadle reset?
Toadle resets at 00:00 UTC. The puzzle for a given date is the same one your friends are playing, wherever they are.
Why does each guess only show one number?
That's the twist. Telling you how many letters are in the right place and how many are in the word but wrong place would let you split the guess into greens and yellows. Toadle hands you one number — twice the greens plus the yellows — and asks you to deduce the split. A score of 4, for example, could be two right-place letters, or one right-place plus two in-word, or four in-word and none in place.
